Send Campaigns

Send emails to your subscribers — to lists, specific recipients, or as custom one-off messages

Overview

SentinMail gives you three ways to send emails, depending on your use case:

To a List

Send a template to all subscribers in a list

To Receivers

Send a template to specific email addresses with per-person variables

Custom Email

Send a one-off email with inline subject and body

Send to a Subscriber List

The most common method — send a saved template to everyone on a list.

Go to Send → To List

Navigate to Send → To List in the sidebar.

Fill in the campaign details

Schedule or send now

  • Send now — click Send Campaign to queue immediately
  • Schedule — toggle the schedule option, pick a date and time, then click Schedule Campaign
Note
Scheduling requires the `scheduled_campaigns` feature on your plan.

Add attachments (optional)

If you have files in your media library, you can attach them to the email.
Success

After submitting, you'll be redirected to the Campaigns page where you can watch the campaign's progress.

Send to Specific Receivers

Send a template to a custom list of email addresses. Great for personalized emails where each recipient gets different variable values.

Go to Send → To Receivers

Navigate to Send → To Receivers in the sidebar.

Fill in campaign details

Same as above — campaign name, template, and SMTP config.

Enter recipients

Type or paste email addresses — one per line or comma-separated.

Send or schedule

Click Send Campaign or toggle scheduling.

Recipients entered here are automatically saved as subscribers to your company. If they already exist, their record is updated.

Send a Custom Email

For one-off emails where you don't need a saved template. You provide the subject and HTML body inline.

Go to Send → Custom Email

Navigate to Send → Custom Email in the sidebar.

Compose your email

  • Enter the recipient email
  • Write a subject line (supports [[variables]])
  • Write the HTML body (supports [[variables]])
  • Select an SMTP Configuration

Send

Click Send. Custom emails are sent immediately — scheduling is not available for this method.

Campaign Statuses

After sending, your campaign moves through these statuses:

Manage Campaigns

Go to Campaigns → Campaigns to see all your campaigns with filters for status and type.

Cancel a Scheduled Campaign

If a campaign is Scheduled, click the Cancel button to prevent it from sending.

Resume a Partial/Failed Campaign

If a campaign partially completed (e.g., your SMTP hit a rate limit), click Resume to retry the unsent recipients. Already-sent recipients are skipped.

Tip
Hover over the error icon on a failed campaign to see what went wrong.

Attachments

To attach files to your emails:

  1. Upload the files to your Media Library first (Content → Media)
  2. When creating a campaign, use the attachment picker to select files
Warning
Large attachments increase email size and may trigger spam filters. Keep attachments small or link to files hosted online instead.
